About Me

Hi! I go by the online artist alias 'nohopegeneration', but you can call me by my fursona name, Marrow. I've been drawing my entire life, but started taking it seriously early 2020 during the pandemic. I spent a few years drawing before landing on a consistent style around January of 2024.

I currently reside in California. I'm also a university graduate working in the computer science field, and do art on the side. The art I draw can be found on any of my socials!

FAQ

How did you learn how to draw?

https://drawabox.com/. This course taught me all of my fundamentals and is a rigorous, unapologetic view into drawing. I only completed the first two lessons however.

What drawing software do you use?

Adobe Photoshop. I use Photoshop because I already know it from editing images and didn't want to learn new software. I'd recommend a dedicated drawing software however if you don't know Photoshop already.

What drawing tablet do you use?

Huion H610 Pro V2. Really any large drawing tablet will work though. I'll probably buy another <$50 drawing tablet off Amazon when this breaks.

Can I commission you?

Depends if my commissions are open. Click on the 'Commissions' tab for more info, or contact me directly. My commissions are never usually closed.

What inspires your art?

Life, music, and the fear of the unknown. Oh and the Pacific Northwest.

Do you sell prints?

It's something I've always wanted to do. I might hand out a few at a convention unofficially, but I have no official plans to set up a store page currently.

Can I talk to you at a convention?

As long as I don't look busy, feel free to say hi! Please use common courtesy however and respect my space.

How was this site made?

This site is made in Vue + Nuxt, utilizing Nuxt Content, Fonts, and Images. It is deployed statically on Netlify. SCSS was used for styling, and some heavily-modified Bootstrap components were used.
